If you want to be more informed not only about
the activities at MCHS, but also the needs at the school, the decisions being made, and how the students and teachers at MCHS could use parent help and input, JOIN THE MCPO. |
INFORMEDMembership in MCPO is FREE
Attending MCPO meetings is welcomed but optional Our goal in MCPO is to share timely and important information to parents through emails, texts, and a monthly newsletter rather than members having to come to a meeting to receive it.
Membership in the MCPO involves receiving information about needs at the school, decisions being made, and how the students and teachers at MCHS could use parent help.

INVOLVEDVolunteering in the MCPO
is welcomed but optional If you would like to be more involved at Mountain Crest, we have organized the volunteer needs in the MCPO with clearly defined time commitments and responsibilities.
Some are one-time small volunteer opportunities and others involve serving on one of our committees. Ways to sign up to volunteer are in the membership form. |
INVESTEDMCPO Contributions
are welcomed but optional Unlike a traditional PTA, one of the valuable benefits of contributing to the MCPO is that EVERY DOLLAR will stay at our school to benefit everyone at our school.
Making a contribution helps us fund these programs without using time, energy and resources on fundraising.
|
OUR VISION |
OUR VISION in creating the MCPO is to form a parent organization that focuses not only on the needs of high school students but on the needs of Mountain Crest.
OUR FOCUS is to utilize membership as a way for more MC parents to be more informed, more involved, and more invested. OUR GOAL is to simplify all aspects of a parent organization so that our efforts are efficient and effective. |
At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key
to a child's educational success
is the positive involvement of parents."
